I’m impressed with the fact that we made it six days together before we had our first argument although that is probably largely due to the medication I am taking for “menopause” and my recent five year stint working with 12 year olds on the verge of puberty. “If you lose your temper, you’ve lost the battle,” which also happens to be the rule of thumb for bartering in Thailand.
Coincidentally, our first argument (note the optimism here) was about money. I have given birth to a penny pincher (a really liberal penny pincher which seems like an oxymoron). I don’t know how that works; clearly it’s a recessive gene because Tony and I are perfectly happy with our spending habits while Kip insists that we are irresponsible and need to pay much closer attention to what things cost.
